A.I. Soccer is newly adopted official game of 2020 IRO. A.I. soccer is one of the ‘AI World Cup’ events held by KAIST for the general public interested in AI technology.

This event is an online simulation-based soccer competition without hardware and is played by an AI soccer team learned through deep learning technology.

Young scientists are key figure for future AI technology. A.I. soccer will enable adolescent to access to A.I. technology easily As this is brand new game. IROC will distribute lecture video for guideline We ask for your continuous interest and participation!

​IROC HQ, ​we are very pleased to announce that The 21st International Robot Olympiad 2019 in Chiang Mai, Thailand was successfully held during 15th to 20th December. Over 1700 students from 14 countries had participated in IRO 2019 and enjoyed IRO days. Please click the button below or here to read IRO 2019 official report. Thailand organizing committee is preparing the one day tour program during our competition days. Please find the attached file and register the tour in advance if you are interested. Tour can be canceled if less than 10 people are gathered for the day. If you cancel your tour after confirmation, some deposit might be charged. It will be only allowed to register in advance, because of some reasons.

The host of the event will have more students participating on robotics and representing your country at international events.

It becomes to have great chance to get sponsors for the event as well since it covers wider audiences and interests groups.

We would like to hold an idea contest of Mission for Mission Challenge category in order to reflect your opinion and the latest technology trends. We think it leads to encourage students and teachers to participate IRO actively.

For the winners, they will be granted the certificates from IROC and we are going to write the winner's name on the mission paper when we set the missions suggested by you.

Please send us the email if you have any ideas for the mission by 11st March, 2019!

All players that strictly only registered players can get inside the campus. and there might be random bag checks and there will be K9 military dogs in the campus.

Random bag check is for knives, sharp objects they can hurt people, weapons, guns, that kind of things. If participants bring some knives to make their robots, they will just be asked and then they can answer. Thanks!

Successfully the first ever Bangladesh Robot Olympiad (BdRO)-2018 took place on 26th October, 2018 

With a great enthusiasm and with a considerable amount of participants, the first ever “Bangladesh robot Olympiad” is been held back on October 26th, 2018 in the premise of the historic Curzon Hall of University of Dhaka. The country's this first robot Olympiad was organized jointly by Bangladesh Open Source Network (BDOSN) and Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering Department of University of Dhaka!

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of IRO, we would like to extend our sincere thanks to everyone who has participated in our competition for years.

​

We are planning something special to celebrate our 20th anniversary; the first one is the recruitment of the 1st honorary reporters for IRO.  Everyone can apply for these reporters even you haven’t had any experience in IRO before. The reporters should work in various fields of online marketing such as taking pictures of IRO, SNS marketing and writing the articles during this year.

​

When you become one of our reporters, you will get the certificates of the honorary reporter for IRO and a name card issued by IROC. Reporters can access competition site during a given time period with an access pass.

​

Anyone interested should submit two application forms we uploaded below to Ms. Yura Ha(yuraha@krsa.org) by February 21th. The successful candidates will be notified by February 26th on our website. There might be a Skype interview for the successful candidates. Look forward to seeing many applicants for these reporters!
