Collection and Usage Agreement
Personal information use consent form In accordance with the provisions of the Information and Communications Network Act, the International Robot Olympiad Committee (hereinafter referred to as IROC) informs those who register as International Robot Olympiad annual members (hereinafter referred to as annual members) of the personal information items collected, the purpose of collection and use of personal information, and the retention and use period of personal information. We provide you with guidance, so please read it carefully and agree. 1. Collected Personal information IROC collects the minimum amount of personal information necessary. The personal information collected from members during the annual membership registration process is as follows. - 'Name, date of birth, school, mobile phone number, email, home address, uniform size' are collected as required items. If the date of birth entered by the user is a child under the age of 14, annual membership registration will be processed with the consent of the legal representative. The personal information collected from members in the process of using the annual member service is as follows. - When winning a competition within IRO, additional personal information may be collected only from the user. When additional personal information is collected, the user is informed of the 'items of personal information being collected, the purpose of collection and use of personal information, and the storage period of personal information' at the time of collection of the personal information, and the user's consent is obtained. 2. Use of collected personal information IROC uses personal information only for the following purposes, including member management, service development, provision and improvement, and data collection for issuing award performance certificates. - Personal information is used for member management, including confirmation of intention to become a member, verification of age and consent of the legal representative, identification of the user and legal representative, identification of the user, and confirmation of intention to withdraw membership. - Notices such as restrictions on use for members who violate laws and IRO terms and conditions, prevention and sanctions for actions that interfere with the smooth operation of the service, including fraudulent use, prevention of account theft and illegal transactions, and amendments to the terms and conditions. Destruction of personal information In principle, IROC destroys users' personal information without delay upon withdrawal of membership. However, if separate consent is obtained from the user regarding the retention period of personal information, or if the law imposes an obligation to retain information for a certain period of time, personal information will be safely stored for that period. The cases where separate consent is obtained from the user regarding the storage period of personal information are as follows. Records of fraudulent use, such as fraudulent registration and disciplinary records, are stored and destroyed for six months from the time of collection to prevent fraudulent registration and use. Personal information in the misuse record includes mobile phone number (legal representative information for members under 14 years of age). To prevent fraudulent transactions, protect other innocent users, and ensure a safe transaction environment, the information is stored and destroyed for 3 years from the time of collection. The cases where laws such as the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc., the Electronic Financial Transactions Act, and the Communications Secrets Protection Act stipulate the storage of information for a certain period of time are as follows. IROC stores personal information in accordance with the provisions of the law during this period and will never use this information for any other purpose. - Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, etc. Records on contracts or cancellation of subscription, etc.: kept for 5 years Records of payment and supply of goods, etc.: kept for 5 years Records of consumer complaints or dispute resolution: kept for 3 years - Electronic Financial Transactions Act Records related to electronic finance: kept for 5 years - Communications Secrets Protection Act Login history: 3 months
