Dr Peter Xu has been Senior Lecturer in Mechatronics
and Automation at Massey University since 1999.Prior
to joining Massey, he worked at Southeast University,
China, the University of Stuttgart, Germany, the
City University of Hong Kong, China.
He also held a number
of visiting posts at the University of Siegen, Germany,
Ritsumeikan University, Japan etc.
Dr Xu is Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions
on Industrial Electronics. He is Senior Member of
IEEE, Member of Royal Society of New Zealand, Member
of Institution of Professional Engineers of New
Zealand. His research interests include Intelligent
Machines, Mechatronics Design, Artificial Intelligence.
