Since 1986 he is on
the faculty of Queensland University of Technology,
Australia, where he is researches learning processes
for small low cost autonomous robots. He also developed
an analog neural net chip for control and robotic
applications in cooperation with the Prof. Ulrich
Rueckert at the Heinz Nixdorf Institute, University
of Paderborn, Germany.
