Name: Dr. Guangming Xie

 Guangming Xie received his B.S. degrees in Applied  Mathematics and Computer Science & Technology, his M.E. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering, and his Ph.D. degree in Control Theory and Control Engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in  1996, 1998 and 2001, respectively.

 Then he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow in the Center for  Systems and Control, Department of Mechanics and Engineering Science, Peking University, Beijing, China from July 2001 to June 2003. In July 2003, he joined the Center as a lecturer.

 Now he is an Associate Professor of Dynamics and Control. He is also a Guest Professor of East China Jiaotong University. He is an Editorial Advisory Board member of the International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems.

 His research interests include hybrid and switched systems, networked control systems, multiagent systems, multirobot systems, and biomimetic robotics. He has published more than 100 papers. He is the founder of robot water polo game.
